US President Joe Biden has termed the expatriation of Americans from Afghanistan tremendously dangerous in which lives are at risk.

Speaking at the White House, Biden said the US has evacuated 13,000 people so far in one of the largest, most difficult airlifts in history.

He said that the US military is firmly committed to extract all American and their thousands of Afghan allies safely who might be targeted.

He warned the Taliban that any attack on the US forces or disruption of our operations at the airport will be met with swift and forceful retaliation.
