The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bearish today.

The KSE-100 Index closed today at 40249.22 points as compared to 40481.65 points on the last working day with a negative change of 232.43 points.

The total turnover was 85,597,900 as compared to 112,084,380 on last working day with Maple Leaf having the highest turnover of 8,083,000.

Total 326 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 131 recorded gain and 172 sustained losses whereas the share price of 23 companies remained unchanged.

Unilever Foods recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 150.00 rupees while Sapphire Tex. recorded maximum decrease of 61.72 rupees.
