Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s South Punjab President and Senator Aun Abbas Bappi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is working for the welfare of people and the country.

In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Bahawalpur Correspondent Sajjad Parvez, he said that government officials have been directed to serve the masses and divert their energies towards the solution of the basic problems.

He announced that in Punjab, local bodies elections will be held in March next year in which PTI will clean sweep due to its people friendly policies.

He said for the first time in Punjab's history a separate developmental budget has been allocated for the uplift of South Punjab and secretariats have been established in Bahawalpur and Multan for the solution of people’s problems at their doorsteps.
