More than fifty European and Asian leaders have expressed their commitment to ensure free and open trade and fight all forms of protectionism.

They expressed the commitment in a statement after the 12th summit of Asia-Europe Meeting in Brussels.

The leaders also vowed to fight unilateral measures and unfair trade practices and to support World Trade Organization.
