
The 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the OIC-15 Dialogue Platform concluded in Tehran, Iran today with a unanimously adopted 'Tehran Declaration' to advance collective efforts in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhary led a COMSTECH delegation at the forum.
High Level Delegations from OIC-15 Platform including Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkiye, and Qatar also attended the meeting.
The forum emphasized cooperation in AI education, research, infrastructure development, governance, technology transfer and exchange of knowledge among the OIC Member States.
It underscored the need for collaborative research in addressing shared challenges like healthcare, climate change, food security, and water related issues.
The OIC-15 platform brings together fifteen technologically advanced Islamic countries.
