Elected representatives from Thar have presented suggestions to Sindh Chief Minister to make Tharparkar as livestock friendly zone through multiple development initiatives.

The suggestions have been given by Dr Mahesh Kumar, Faqeer Sher Muhammad and Dost Ali Rahimoon.

These suggestions include promotion of veterinary service by providing modern facilities, posting of veterinary doctors at taluka level and establishment of livestock training centers for local farmers.

They further suggested for the establishment of government farms for keeping, breeding and protection of local breeds like Thari cow, Cankrage cow, Catchhi sheep and Tharki goats etc.
