Sports Gymnasium equipped with latest gadgets has become operational at Rawalpindi press club to provide recreational activities to the Journalists community.   

The In-charge Rawalpindi Press Club Abid Abbasi thanked Chairman Steering Committee Punjab Sports Board, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi who inaugurated the multi-million Sports Gymnasium for the journalist community and expressed hope that such projects would be carried out in future as well.

Speaking on the occasion, Hanif Abbasi said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government is spending billions of rupees to construct international standard cricket, football and hockey grounds, adding that sports are essential for physical and mental health and no one can deny its importance.

He said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif is taking keen interest for the promotion of sports in the province.

He said Rs.15 billion are being spent to flourish sports activities in the province.
