The four-day 9th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Development concluded in Lahore on Sunday.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Chairman of the Punjab Higher Education Commission Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin underlined the need of implementing a specialized curriculum in the education sector to cater the market requirements.

He said that ICT has significantly contributed to health and primary education sectors, which needed to be extended to higher education as well. Private sector was gaining profits out of education activity and their quality was questionable.
