Provincial livestock and dairy development department computerized data of 8.7 million cattle farmers in the province through the latest software.

This was stated in a meeting of the livestock department at its head office with Provincial Minister Livestock and Dairy Development Mian Nauman Kabeer in the chair.

He said the department also introduced the best practices to increase the production of milk.

This has help to make farmers economically self-reliant.

He said that vaccination of animals would be completed soon.

Mian Nauman said the department has also established 080009211 helpline for giving necessary information and guidance to farmers and this service works round-the-clock.
