School Education hotline for over 53,000 public schools launched in Lahore

The School Education hotline for more than 53,000 public schools was formally launched in Lahore on Thursday.

Chairman PITB Dr. Umar Saif addressing a function said Punjab education system developed in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board is among the largest networks in the world.

School Education hotline will monitor performance of 14.5 million students and 325,000 teachers in real time by 1143 school inspectors.

The monitoring would focus on attendance of students and teachers, cleanliness, and provision of tap water. It also includes a quiz application to get answers from the students to judge the level of education.  

The hotline service is open for service from 8 am to 8 pm for the community, parents and students.
