Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called for a high turnout in the upcoming parliamentary elections to disappoint the United States.

He made the remarks during a meeting with thousands of people from Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province in Tehran.

Khamenei said elections also neutralize many of the evil intentions that the Americans and the Israelis have in mind against Iran.
