The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training under the initiative of bringing religious seminaries into the mainstream, has started to establish regional offices for their registration.

Official sources informed APP that talks between the government and religious representatives remained successful in this connection and the process of providing performa to Madaris for registration has been kicked off.

The Ministry has also decided to allow the registered Madaris for opening of their bank accounts and provision of monthly honorarium to two teachers selected by each seminary.

Similarly, the annual audit of Madaris would be declared mandatory.
