Eight matches of PSL to be held in Pakistan: Chairman PCB

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ehsan Mani has said he is in contact with the cricket playing nations to come to Pakistan and play international cricket.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad today (Saturday), he said eight matches of the next edition of the PSL will be held in Pakistan. He said star players like A B De Villiers have expressed their readiness to play in Pakistan.

The Chairman PCB said the security situation stands improved in the country and our effort is that all the matches of the PSL are played within Pakistan in the next few years. He said we want to bring cricket back to Pakistan.

Responding to a question, Ehsan Mani, who is also Chairman of the Task Force on Sports, said that he has submitted a report to the government for bringing improvement in different games.

He said the report envisages recommendations pertaining to bringing improvement in the structure and governance of different sports.

The Chairman PCB said we will have to professionalize sports and introduce such a system which ensures accountability as well as development of necessary infrastructure. He said we have to promote games at the school level.
