The work on two Karachi nuclear power projects (KNUPP11 & 111) with total capacity of producing 2200 megawatts of the electricity is underway.

The power plants are being constructed in cooperation with China under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the cost of nine point five nine billion dollars.
