Noor-ul-Haq Qadri calls for capacity building of Hajj Moavineen

Minister for Religious Affairs Dr Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has called for capacity building of Hajj Moavineen to guide pilgrims in an effective way.

He was chairing a post Hajj review meeting in Makkah on Saturday. 

Director General Hajj Dr Sajid Yousafani briefed the meeting that 47 Maktab were allotted to Pakistan, which included 28 in Old Mina and 19 in New Mina. He said 13 Maktab used train facility, while the rest travelled in buses.

The DG said fireproof tents with air-cooler facility were provided to all the Hujjaj in Arafat. He said all government Hujjaj were provided with a floor mat, prayer mat, and inflatable pillow.   

Dr Sajid Yousafani said pickets of Moavineen were established at all the vital points to guide Hujjaj in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah, which resulted in smooth shifting of pilgrims to Mashaer and bringing them back to their buildings.
