Caretaker Provincial Minister for Industry, Trade & Investment and Mines & Mineral Development Mian Anjum Nisar has said that strong Industry-Academia Linkage is the need of the hour.

He was speaking at a seminar on “Technology Development Fund” at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized by the LCCI Standing Committee on Industry-Academia Linkage and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

He said policies and syllabi should be reviewed and overhauled, making them relevant to the needs of industries.

On the occasion, LCCI Acting President Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi emphasized the need for conducting research work in line with the current requirements saying that it would be beneficial for both researchers and industry.
