Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says poverty alleviation plays a key role in curbing the scourge of terrorism in the country.

In his message on the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, he said that equal distribution of resources among the different segments of the society helps eradicate poverty.

The Chief Minister said that revolutionary steps have been taken to alleviate poverty and thousands of low income families are benefiting from welfare-oriented programmers of the Punjab government.
