National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has stressed the need for revival of cotton terming it indispensable to Pakistan's economic growth.                     

The Speaker said this during a meeting with the Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Adviser on Commerce, Textile, Industries, Production and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood in Islamabad.                      

The meeting was held to discuss the framework and incentives for revival of cotton production.

Asad Qaiser assured the farmers will be provided with protection and incentives along with provision of quality seeds and other inputs to boost productivity.
