Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has reaffirmed the government's commitment to promoting digital governance and data-driven decision-making to build an efficient power sector.

He was chairing the inaugural meeting of Pakistan's first-ever Public Sector Data Governance Council in Islamabad today.

The Minister said that reliable and integrated data was indispensable for effective decision-making in the power sector.
