Iran has announced that the passage for all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is completely open.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi made this announcement in a post on X on Friday.

He said the decision was taken in line with the ceasefire in Lebanon. He said passage is open on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of Iran.
