Pak, Saudi Arabia enjoy cordial relations: Experts
April 17, 2018

Dr Hassan Askari Rizvi (IR Expert):  Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi held useful meeting with Saudi King Shah Salman in Saudi city of Dammam and discussed important regional issues.  Both the sides also discussed latest situation prevailing in the Middle East.  Pakistan wants to establish good friendly ties with all regional countries. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy cordial relations in various fields, including security and counter-terrorism.  Pakistan has long been cooperating with Saudi Arabia to strengthen its defence against any external aggression and any internal disturbance.  International community should take notice of massive human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Lt General, retired, Abdul Qayyum (PML-N Senator): Worldwide protests have erupted around the globe, including the United Kingdom, against rape and killing of eight-year old girl in Kathua.  Indian Army Chief has himself admitted that Indian policies have badly failed in Kashmir. There is no any implementation of rule of law in India. Nearly 10,000 rape cases have emerged in Occupied Kashmir since 2000.  The United Nations Security Council should take notice of massive human rights violations committed by Indian troops in Indian-administered Kashmir.  Unfortunately, international community has kept mum over the cruelties and brutal attitude meted out with the people of Kashmir. India is so-called champion of human rights and the world largest democracy, where rights of minorities are not protected.
