The Lahore Museum will establish an art and craft gallery at the Lahore City Heritage Museum along with permanent display of industrial artifacts of 1864.

In a media interview, Additional Director Lahore Museum Naushaba Anjum said that there are 17 galleries in the museum full to their capacity but it needs more space for temporary exhibitions, workshops and other such art-related activities.

She said that the Lahore City Heritage Museum is an extremely important component of the Lahore Museum where from 2010 to 2018 some 60 national and international exhibitions and events have taken place.
