Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has arrived in Kabul to participate in Pakistan-China-Afghanistan trilateral dialogue being held today.

He is accompanied by Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and other senior officials of foreign office.

Talking to the PTV before departure, the foreign minister welcomed the Chinese initiative of holding the trilateral dialogue. He said both Pakistan and China desire peace, stability, prosperity and development in Afghanistan. He said we are carrying the message of friendship and peace to Afghanistan.

 The Foreign Minister stressed that peace is imperative to take forward the region on the path of sustainable development.
