South Korea and North Korea test-launched ballistic missiles today (Wednesday) in a display of military assets.
In a statement, South Korea’s presidential office said it conducted, domestically built, first underwater-launched ballistic missile test today, fired from a 3,000-tonne-class submarine that flew a set distance before hitting a designated target.
The statement further said that the test followed two short-range North Korean ballistic missiles launched from central North Korea, flew about 800km before landing in the waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.
