Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to effectively implement price control mechanism to provide relief to the people.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, ordered the administration to effectively monitor the prices of essential commodities in the markets and bazaars in order to protect people from artificial inflation.

He said the availability of essential items to the people at fixed rates should be ensured.
