US President Donald Trump has expressed the hope that differences between US and Turkey over purchase of the Russian S-400 missile systems would be resolved soon.
Speaking at a news conference along with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Washington, he said the US-Turkish alliance can be a powerful force for security and stability not only in the Middle East but beyond it.
He said we encourage Turkey to further open its market goods and services and ensure a level playing field for our trade relationship.
President Trump said his meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan was a wonderful and very productive.
Speaking on the occasion, the Turkish President said the challenges can be overcome solely through dialogue, stressing that Ankara is committed to opening a new page with the US in line with their bilateral alliance.
