Punjab Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that more 4200 doctors and 6200 nurses will be recruited through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in the health department by 15th of the next month.

Talking to the media during a visit to a hospital in Faisalabad on Wednesday, she said that the departmental practice of doctors is being introduced in the big hospitals affiliated with five health universities.

She said that round-the-clock medical facilities are being provided in 2400 basic health centers while new gynae hospitals will be set up in Attock, Mianwali, Bahalwalnagar, Rajanpur and Bhakkar.
