Renowned film actress and Lollywood heroine Jharna Basak popularly known as Shabnum is in Lahore nowadays for the recording of her drama serial.

She met the family of director late Zafar Shabab in Lahore and called on at the house of widow of renowned musician Riaz-ur-Rehman Saghir.

She condoled with both bereaved families and expressed sympathies with them.  

 Shabnum have been offered by the various producers for work in the TV soaps, however she has not expressed her willingness for a contract.
