Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain cut a cake at a ceremony in Islamabad in connection with Independence Day. 

On the occasion, the Minister planted a sapling in the vicinity of Ministry as per the clean green vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Minister urged the nation to participate in clean green Pakistan campaign and plant a tree with their name.

Among others, Secretary Information Shahera Shahid, Director General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Asim Khichi, senior officials of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Radio Pakistan and PTV attended the ceremony.

The Minister congratulated the nation on the Independence Day anniversary.
