Pakistan wants to resolve all issues with India through dialogue: Fawad

Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry says Pakistan desires peace in the region and wants to resolve all issues with India through dialogue.  

Talking to media persons in front of Parliament House in Islamabad on Friday, he said Pakistan always took lead for talks with India.

The Minister said if Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not responding positively to Pakistan's offer of dialogue, he is being exposed before the world, and it will also harm India.

Fawad Chaudhry said the peoples of Pakistan and India have interest in peace in region.

Referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the ongoing SCO summit in Bishkek, he said the two countries have a lot of opportunities to cooperation in science and technology.

Speaking about domestic politics, the Minister said the opposition wants to use floor of the National Assembly to save its leaders, who have been facing various corruption cases.

He said the Speaker National Assembly is being pressurized to issue production orders of Asif Zardari, who is in NAB detention. He said the Speaker has rightly sought opinion of the Ministry of Law in this regard.

Meanwhile, Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhary Fawad Hussain says people have given mandate to PTI to hold accountability of corrupt elements.

Talking to media outside Parliament House in Islamabad this afternoon, he said nation will ask us tough questions if we do not hold those accountable who plundered national wealth.

The Minister said opposition looked divided in today's national assembly session. He said it seems opposition has no interest in budget. He expressed hope that constructive debate on budget will start from Monday and will conclude soon.
