In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Congress has criticized the occupation regime for the rising public distress in the territory.

In a statement, working president Raman Bhalla highlighted unemployment as a major concern, with thousands of educated youth struggling to find jobs due to delayed recruitment processes, vacant government posts, and lack of private sector investment.

He also pointed out the worsening inflation scenario, with skyrocketing prices of essentials, LPG, electricity tariffs, and fuel eroding household incomes.

The Congress leader raised concerns about the plight of farmers and horticulturists, citing issues with irrigation, minimum support prices, and inadequate cold storage facilities.
