Russia has accused the United State of attempting to separate Syria from its oil-rich regions. 

Speaking at the second Paris Peace Forum, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov alleged that Washington pushed Gulf countries to finance the creation of a quasi-state.

Meanwhile, Turkish and Russian troops have completed the fifth round of joint ground patrols in northern Syria under a deal reached last month.

According to Turkish National Defense Ministry, the patrols were carried out in Ayn Al-Arab.
