Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance Railways connectivity as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
The agreement came during a meeting of Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehdi Hoonardost and Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
It was also decided to constitute a technical committee of the two countries to resolve issues pertaining to Railways.
Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says Quetta-Taftan section and its up-gradation is imperative for Pak-Iran relations.
