FM invites Malaysian, French investors to harness opportunities in Pakistan

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said there are encouraging prospects of economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Malysia and we want to further strengthen this bilateral cooperation.

He was talking to the Chief Executive Officer of a leading E-commerce related company of Malaysia Ciscom Barhad, Dato' Sri Leo Ariyanayakam who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Foreign Minister said foreign investors are taking keen interest in investment in Pakistan due to business friendly policies of the government.

He said at present several Malaysian companies are doing profitable business in different sectors of Pakistan including construction, structure building, education, airports, real estate, hilal foods and other areas.

Dato' Sri Leo Ariyanayakam informed  the Foreign Minister that his company is engaged in e-commerce and e-solution business and providing services to over two hundred million consumers across the world.

French Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister in Islamabad

Talking to French Ambassador Marc Baréty in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan attaches great value to bilateral cooperation with France in diverse sectors.

He invited French investors to invest in Pakistan and take advantage of business friendly policies of the government.

The Minister emphasized on enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade and economy.

The French Ambassador assured his country's complete cooperation in diverse fields of mutual interest.
