Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed the confidence that Naya Pakistan Housing Programme would bring about significant improvement in the economy of the country.

He made these remarks during meeting of the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Prime Minister said the project would be undertaken through one widow operation.

Imran Khan said Pakistan's debt burden has increased from just six thousand billion rupees to thirty thousand billion rupees during the last ten years.

He said the country has to obtain more loans to pay back installments of the previous loans.
