''World Science Day for Peace and Development'' is being observed on Saturday (Nov 10) across the world including Pakistan to create awareness about the benefits of science worldwide.

The theme of the day is "Science, a Human Right."

The purpose of "World Science Day for Peace and Development" is to renew the national as well as international commitment to science for peace and development and to stress upon reasonable use of science for the benefit of society.
