Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated Islamabad Police’s Modern Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Centre.

With the new Command and Control Centre, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police will be able to directly monitor and command Safe City, police operations and the law-and-order situation in the city from his office.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Interior Minister said the modern centre will help significantly improve Islamabad Police’s command, monitoring, coordination and rapid decision-making mechanisms.

Mohsin Naqvi said Modern AI and technology-based systems will make police performance, response times and monitoring of field forces more effective.

The Interior Minister said modern system will further improve communication and coordination among various police units. In the event of any incident or emergency, it will enable timely information sharing, prompt decision-making and a swift police response.

The Interior Minister said protection of people, improvement in police performance and maintenance of law and order in Islamabad are our top priorities.
