Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is in China to lead Pakistan delegation at Boao Forum Annual Conference for Asia.

According to Foreign Office Spokesperson, main theme of the conference is "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of greater Prosperity".

The Prime Minister will be one of the keynote speakers at the Forum along with President Xi Jinping, and other leaders attending the Annual Forum.

The Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with Chinese and other world leaders.

Meanwhile, addressing a news conference in Hainan, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia Zhou Wenzhong has said that“Asia’s economic aggregate has been accounted for approximately 40 percent of the world’s total.

He said it is the critical time for us to review the past and discuss prospects for openness and innovation in Asia.
