United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has called for world’s governments to maintain lifesaving services for minor children that are under increasing threat from strained health services as a result of coronavirus’ outbreak.

In a statement, UNICEF Executive Director, Henrietta H. Fore said UN agency estimates that 116 million babies have been born since the onset of COVID-19 pandemic with Pakistan grouped among the countries that have highest numbers of forecast births.
