China has announced to further strengthen the preventive measures to stop the imported COVID-19 infections from entering the country through land border.

The announcement was made during the meeting of China's COVID-19 epidemic response group, chaired by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.   

The meeting decided that stricter epidemic control measures will be imposed in economic cooperation centers and trade markets along the border.
