Balochistan government has decided to launch Quetta Integrated Security Project to modernise security and policing system in the province. 

The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today.

Chief Minister directed that police personnel be provided with training and resources needed to effectively respond to terrorism-related challenges.

New stations of Quick Response Force will also be established under the project, while steps are being taken to bring Balochistan Police in line with modern requirements to better deal with terrorism.
