Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said government wants implementation of law against those responsible for creating artificial sugar crisis in the country.

Talking to a private news channel, she said government is not defending the owners of Sugar Mills.

Dispelling the impression created by Opposition over commission report made public on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, she said that whosoever involved in minting money on essential products would be treated as per law.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said a detail report would be issued by a commission on 25th of this month.
