The new Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shah Farman took oath of his office in Peshawar today.Chief Justice Peshawar High Court, Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth administered the oath to him.

Earlier, Shah Farman resigned from the Provincial Assembly.

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar and Deputy Speaker Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri, have congratulated Shah Farman on oath taking as Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In their separate congratulatory messages to Shah Farman they said that his appointment as Governor KP was the evidence of trust and confidence of leadership reposed in his acumen and capabilities.

They were confident that under the guidance of Shah Farman, the provincial would initiate policies which would usher in an era of development and welfare of the Province.

They expressed the hope that under his sagacious leadership, the Province will witness development and prosperity and relations between federation and province become more cordial. They prayed for his success during his tenure.
