Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmad Shah has stressed the importance of employability-oriented initiatives to complement social protection programmes and create sustainable pathways towards economic empowerment.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Vice Chancellor of the National Skills University Islamabad, Professor Dr Saud Altaf, today.

The Minister said the government is committed to protecting vulnerable and underprivileged communities.
