Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, partly cloudy and very cold weather is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Fog is likely to prevail in few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:    

Islamabad seven degree centigrade, Lahore fourteen, Karachi seventeen, Peshawar ten, Quetta four, Gilgit zero, Muzaffarabad and Muree five degree centigrade.  

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy, cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian,  Pulwama, Leh and Baramulla while dry in Jammu.
