Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says under the Ujala program, twenty thousand schools will be converted to solar panels to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

He was chairing the high level meeting to review the progress on the Khadim-e-Aala Ujala program in Lahore on Tuesday.

The Chief Minster said the Ujala program which is for the bright future of the country is being completed at a fast pace.

He said in the first phase initially ten thousand schools will be solarized in southern Punjab.
