A ship carrying 17000 tons of DAP fertilizer has arrived at Gwadar port for the first time.
Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa in a tweet said transportation of fertilizer to Afghanistan through Chaman crossing has also started.
He said that for the first time bagging of bulk cargo has been done locally instead of foreign port.
Asim Sleem Bajwa said this development will generate employment opportunities for local people besides boosting transport business.
