Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan has said that Pakistan Medical Commission has been upgraded to improve the quality of medical education in the country.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today (Monday), he said efforts are being made to provide better healthcare facilities in hospitals including  Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to facilitate the people.

The Special Assistant emphasized the need for promotion of medical research to take forward the country. He pointed out that medicine is a sacred profession and those associated with it must serve the ailing humanity with devotion and respect.
