Election Commission of Pakistan has asked all political parties and candidates to wind up all political gatherings and corners meetings by twelve tonight, ahead of by-election on Sunday.                               

The directive has been issued under section 182 of Elections Act, 2017.                                    

In a press release, the Commission says all kind of advertising in support or opposition of any candidate is banned after twelve tonight and strict action will be taken against violators.
