Dr. Fazal ur Rehman (Director, Pak-China Study Center): Government has expressed serious commitment to accelerate work on development projects, especially in Balochistan. The work on delayed projects of CPEC needs to be expedited so that an investment climate is created in the province. Special Economic Zone in Gwadar is need of the hour as it will encourage foreign and domestic investors to invest in various ventures. In addition, civic facilities for people of Balochistan also need acceleration. Under the current government, a new vigor is being seen in the revival of CPEC.
